Squarespace alternative
Moving off Squarespace? I'll rebuild your site around how your business runs.
Squarespace makes good-looking sites. When yours needs to take bookings, send leads into a real CRM or connect to the tools you run on, I build a custom site with a built-in CMS and CRM, and I move your content over.
A few questions first. Then you can pick a call time.
When a custom site makes sense
- Your site needs to connect to your booking tool, CRM or back office, and the built-in blocks stop short.
- Form submissions sit in email and someone copies them into another system.
- You want to own the code and the content, not just rent a template.
See what I build: Websites.
When to stay on Squarespace
- Your site is mostly a portfolio or brochure and it already works for you.
- You enjoy editing it yourself and nothing downstream depends on it.
- Your shop or scheduling runs well inside Squarespace and nobody re-enters data by hand.
If that's you, stay. I'd rather tell you now than sell you a rebuild you don't need.
How I migrate you
Inventory what you have
I list every page, form, redirect, image and integration on your Squarespace site, so nothing is lost in the move.
Map the workflow
I find out what the site has to do for your business, like bookings, leads or intake, and where that data should land.
Build the new site
I build a custom site with a built-in CMS and CRM, and move your pages, text, images and blog posts over.
Keep your search rankings
I set up redirects from every old URL to its new page, and carry over titles and descriptions.
Switch the domain
You keep your domain. I point it to the new site, check that it loads, then you can cancel the Squarespace plan.
Questions
Can I export my Squarespace site?
Only part of it. Squarespace exports certain content, like layout pages, one blog and text and image blocks, to an .xml file. Style settings and custom CSS don't export, so I rebuild the design and move the content myself. Source: Squarespace Help Center: Export your site content.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
I set up a redirect from every old URL to its new page and keep titles and descriptions, which is what protects rankings in a move.
Do I keep my domain?
Yes. The domain stays yours. I only change where it points.
Can I still edit the site myself?
Yes. The site comes with its own CMS, so you can change text and pages without a developer.
What does "setup included" mean?
The migration and setup are part of the build, not an extra line. I quote the whole project after the intake.

Tell me what you run on today. I'll say whether moving is worth it before you spend anything.
