Who I am

reachdiego.com is my site. I'm Diego Gallovich, an independent consultant, and I'm the only person who reads what you send through it. Questions about your data go to diego@reachdiego.com.

What I collect

When you fill in an intake form, I receive your answers plus the contact details you type in: name, company, email, phone number and country. That's what reaches me.

The site is hosted on Google Cloud, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and the page requested) for security and reliability.

Analytics

I use PostHog to count visits and see where people drop off in my intake forms: the pages you view, which links and buttons you click, whether you use the calculator, which step of a form you reach and whether you finish it. PostHog sets a cookie and a local storage entry with a random ID, so a repeat visit isn't counted as a new person. I don't use advertising trackers.

The events I track never include your contact details or what you type: no name, email, phone number or company, and I never link the random ID to who you are. On my cost of staying calculator, events record only rough ranges of the numbers you type (for example 5 to 10 hours a week), never the exact numbers. PostHog drops your IP address before storing anything.

PostHog can also record a session replay, a rebuilt view of how the pages were used. A replay can show which options you pick on my forms, but anything you type into a field is masked. On my cost of staying calculator, a replay also shows the results it works out, including a summary line that repeats the numbers you typed.

If your browser sends Do Not Track, analytics stays off. You can also turn it off here, and your choice is saved in this browser: Checking this browser…

How I use it

Only to reply to you, prepare for the call and, if you hire me, run the project. Analytics only tells me how the site is used, so I can make it better. I don't sell or rent your information, and I don't add you to a newsletter.

Who else touches it

Intake answers reach my inbox through Mailgun, my email delivery provider. Site analytics go to PostHog (US cloud). If you book a call, Cal.com handles the booking. Videos on the site are embedded from YouTube, which may set its own cookies when you play one. Each of these services has its own privacy policy.

How long I keep it

I keep your answers as long as they're useful for the conversation or the project. Ask me at diego@reachdiego.com and I'll delete them, or tell you what I have.

Changes

If I change this page, I'll update the date at the top.
